Music as Medicine for the Nervous System

Personalized clinical sound therapy, hypnotherapy, and trauma-informed care designed to help you calm your nervous system, release emotional overwhelm, and reconnect with a deeper sense of balance. At Soul Echo Therapy, each session is tailored to your unique needs so you can feel more grounded, more present, and more like yourself again.

Our Services

At Soul Echo Therapy, sound therapy helps guide the nervous system into a more settled, regulated, and balanced state. Through crystal bowls, tuning forks, chimes, vocal resonance, and carefully selected frequencies, each session supports the body’s natural ability to restore calm, release tension, and reconnect with emotional ease.

Clients are guided through a private therapeutic experience that uses sound, rhythm, vibration, and resonance to encourage deeper relaxation, emotional regulation, nervous system balance, and mind-body restoration.

Clinical Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused awareness to help access the subconscious mind, where many patterns, emotions, beliefs, and automatic responses are held. In this natural state of inner focus, the mind becomes more receptive to new perspectives, allowing old patterns to soften, anxiety to settle, and meaningful change to begin.

IEMT, or Integral Eye Movement Therapy, is a gentle, non-invasive approach that helps the brain and nervous system shift emotional imprints connected to past experiences. Rather than focusing only on retelling the story, IEMT works with the emotional patterns and internal responses that may continue to trigger distress in the present.

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, helps the brain and nervous system process distressing memories in a new way, so they can feel less overwhelming in the present. Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the brain’s natural ability to integrate past experiences, reduce emotional intensity, and restore a greater sense of calm and safety.

Beyond Sound Therapy: Music As Medicine

At Soul Echo Therapy, we use sound not just as music, but as medicine. Through instruments like crystal bowls, tuning forks, chimes, and the human voice itself, sound waves communicate directly with your nervous system—helping the body shift from stress to calm.

EMDR : Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. Using guided eye movements or bilateral stimulation, we access the brain’s natural healing system—allowing past experiences to lose their emotional charge.

IEMT is a gentle, non-invasive process that helps your brain re-code emotional imprints connected to past events. Unlike traditional talk therapy, IEMT works directly with the neurological patterns that trigger emotional distress.

Clinical Hypnotherapy: Harness the Power of Your Subconscious

Clinical Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation to access the subconscious mind—the part of you that holds patterns, emotions, and automatic responses. In this natural state of focus, we can reframe old beliefs, calm anxiety, and create lasting change.

Grounded in Science • Guided by Healing

Experience neuroscience-informed sound therapy designed to support nervous system regulation, ease emotional tension, and help the mind and body return to a more balanced state. Through carefully selected sound, rhythm, resonance, and frequency-based techniques, Soul Echo Therapy helps create the conditions for deeper relaxation, emotional regulation, and a renewed sense of inner steadiness.

Science, Sound, and Nervous System Healing

At Soul Echo Therapy in Phoenix, Arizona, music, hypnosis, and neuroscience come together to support nervous system regulation and emotional healing. This integrative approach is designed to help the body move out of chronic stress patterns and into a greater sense of safety, balance, and calm.

Founded by Dr. Jennifer Couldry, an operatic soprano, certified hypnotherapist, and clinical sound therapist, Soul Echo Therapy bridges the art of music with the science of the brain and body. Her work focuses on how sound, rhythm, resonance, breath, and subconscious processes can influence the nervous system, helping clients move through stress, trauma-related patterns, anxiety, burnout, and emotional overwhelm.

Each session may draw from clinical sound therapy, EMDR, IEMT, and clinical hypnotherapy to support regulation, emotional processing, and mind-body integration. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, sessions are tailored to your unique nervous system, allowing one or more therapeutic methods to support your personal path toward healing.

This progressive, client-centered model is designed to be adaptive, restorative, and deeply respectful of your individual process. By helping the nervous system settle and the body feel safer, Soul Echo Therapy creates space for clarity, emotional resilience, and meaningful change from within.

A Unified Approach to Sound, Hypnosis, and Nervous System Regulation

Through our partnership with Doc Hypnosis, founded by Dr. William Deihl, clients benefit from an integrative model that brings together clinical sound therapy, subconscious change work, and nervous system regulation.

This collaboration allows Soul Echo Therapy and Doc Hypnosis to support healing from multiple pathways at once. Sound and resonance help the body move toward regulation, while clinical hypnotherapy and trauma-informed methods support deeper subconscious and emotional change.

Together, Soul Echo Therapy and Doc Hypnosis provide support for:

Nervous system regulation through sound, rhythm, resonance, breath, and therapeutic frequency-based approaches.

Subconscious pattern change through clinical hypnotherapy, helping clients shift emotional responses, habits, and limiting internal patterns.

Trauma-informed integration using approaches such as EMDR and IEMT to support the processing of unresolved emotional imprints.

Personalized session progression based on each client’s nervous system state, emotional needs, and response to care.

Every session is designed to meet the client where they are. As the body settles, the subconscious mind becomes more open to change, creating space for emotional regulation, deeper integration, and meaningful healing from within.
