By Dr. Jennifer Couldry, Soul Echo Therapy & Doc Hypnosis Wellness Center
Every summer, Las Vegas becomes the heart of the hypnosis world as hundreds of practitioners, coaches, healers, and performers gather for HypnoThoughts Live (HTL)—the largest hypnosis conference on the planet. HTL isn’t just another professional gathering. It’s a vibrant, open-minded community where techniques are shared freely, old paradigms are questioned, and the potential of the subconscious is explored with passion, creativity, and care.
Sound Healing and Subconscious Work: A Growing Synergy
As the founder of Soul Echo Therapy, I was especially thrilled to see more offerings this year in sound healing and vibrational therapy. There’s a growing awareness in the field that healing doesn’t just happen through words—it also happens through tone, resonance, rhythm, and frequency.
This year’s lineup reflected that shift beautifully.
A few standouts in this space included:
- Peter Blum – Trance Sonics: The Vital Link Between Sound Healing and Hypnosis
- Jordan Wolan – Sound & Subconscious Synergy (a meditative sound bath journey)
- Yana Reznik – Harmonizing the Subconscious: A Musician’s Guide to Integrating Music
Each of these sessions reminded us that when you access the subconscious, you are not just working with stories, you are working with energy. And sound is one of the fastest ways to shift it.
Friday Highlights: Humor, Healing, and Hypnosis
HTL kicked off strong with sessions that combined science, creativity, performance, and healing.
Friday’s themes included:
- Rapid inductions and NLP
- Hypnosis for neurodivergence and trauma
- Ethical influence and practitioner presence
- Comedy, hospice care, and relational hypnosis
One of the most energizing moments came from Dr. Pamela Vaden (colleage of Doc Hypnosis Wellness Center) aka HypnoGoddess with her standout session:
Breaking Into Comedy Clubs Using Hypnosis
This fresh, funny, and incredibly practical talk showed how hypnosis can move beyond the therapy room and into live entertainment spaces. Dr. Vaden gave real-world tips on how to blend therapeutic technique with comedy stage presence—offering a path for hypnotists to reach new audiences and create healing through humor. She showed us that trance can be entertaining, ethical, and unforgettable.

There was also a deeply impactful session led by Ronia Fraser, titled:
Toxic Connectivity: Healing from Unhealthy Attachments
Roni offered a compassionate look at the ways clients can remain stuck in trauma-based relationships. She discussed how hypnosis can help reframe and release subconscious patterns of disempowerment. Her focus on healing from abuse and recognizing the warning signs was heartfelt and personal.

Saturday: Deep Work, Strategy, and Sound
By Saturday, we were ready to dive even deeper into the clinical, creative, and strategic sides of the field.
Topics on Saturday included:
- Ego states and subconscious integration
- Trauma-informed care and emotional regulation
- EMDR, sound baths, and breathwork
- Marketing, messaging, and social media strategies
One session that stayed with me long after the weekend was
presented by Peter Blum
Trance Sonics: The Vital Link Between Sound Healing and Hypnosis Peter offered a demonstrative and fluid experience of how sound and trance states naturally support one another. Rather than adhering to one tradition or technique, he created a space of open exploration—encouraging practitioners to trust resonance, intuition, and presence. As someone immersed in sound healing, I was reminded that the most profound shifts often occur in the spaces between words.

Sunday: Mindset, Marketing, and Making It Real
Sunday’s schedule wrapped up the weekend with a mix of mindset work, trauma-informed approaches, and practical tools to grow your business and expand your reach.
Sessions covered:
- Client-led hypnosis and subconscious dialogue
- ADHD-focused techniques and trauma integration
- Hypnosis for public speaking, weight management, and emotional eating
- Marketing Social Media and Hypnotherapy
We are proud to share that the CEO and Founder of The Doc Hypnosis Wellness Center, Dr. William Deihl, delivered a standout session titled:
Get Vegas-Paid: Marketing Techniques That Cover Your Trip
In his presentation, Dr. Deihl shared the exact strategies that helped him build a six-figure hypnosis practice—from scratch—in under a year. He broke down simple, actionable strategies, from guerrilla marketing ideas to digital tools like SEO and social media. Dr. Deihl also how to build visibility and create connection through genuine rapport and measurable return.
